Each agency may specify the type of information to be presented
to meet the needs of their program. The presentation format, however,
will remain the same as shown in the sample live sites. Further
customization may be made at an additional cost.
Absolutely. The online enrollment by individual participants results
in huge cost-savings. It also makes the individual responsible
for keeping the information current.
No. The information requested by each agency may vary but the
physical format of the pages will remain as shown on the samples.

Yes, an agency may elect to use any number or all of the categories
available on the ERC Directory.
For Hosted Directories, Technical Assistance is available
via telephone or e-mail. The first three (3) hours are included
in the Contract. Additional assistance is available for an hourly
rate.
For the Purchased
Directories, technical assistance is available at an hourly rate.

Time-Line

a “working site” for your perusal and edits.

Once we have the information specific to your needs and payment
has been processed, the directory can be live on your web site
within a week. Additional customization may take longer,
but the registry can still be operational within six weeks.

Ownership
The Hosted Directory is owned by ERC, fully maintained
by ERC and may be “rented” by an agency or organization
via a contract and licensing fees. It can be operational within
a few weeks of the signed contract. One of the most important benefits
of the Hosted Directory is the fact that ERC Systems is continually
updating and improving upon the directory and future customers
benefit from those enhancements.
The Purchased Directory will be purchased by the
customer at a larger fee, will be owned, operated, and maintained
by the customer.
For Hosted Directories, all information submitted
directly onto the ERC Registry by individual performers and artists
(using their user name and password) is the property of the individual
and ERC. However, the data pertinent to each organization for performers
and artists who are adjudicated or certified by that agency is
the property of the agency.
For Purchased Models, the customer decides if
the information will be entered by the individual performers
and artists or by the client. The client owns all other data.
For Hosted Models, the data is backed up daily and disc copies of the data
may be provided as agreed upon in the contract.
For Purchased Directories, protecting the data is the responsiblity of the client.
For the Hosted Model, the data is housed on ERC
servers at two separate locations and is backed up daily. Excel
spreadsheets of the data are available as needed.
For Purchased
Models, the directory would be housed on the customer’s server.

Cost

With the fully-hosted and managed model, all computer hardware costs, internet
hosting fees, and system management are included. Following a one-time setup fee, there is a fixed
monthly fee for all services. The hosted model is designed for those organizations that prefer an all-inclusive and a
worry-free technical environment at a guaranteed cost that is easily budgeted. This is by far our most popular option.
The purchased model includes complete software and code as well as
implementation services. The you are responsible for all hardware and network
environment requirements. This model is designed for the larger arts organization with dedicated IT
resources. System upgrades are not included, but a maintenance and support agreement is
available that would provide for on-going upgrades and any future system enhancements.

For a Hosted Directory, after the initial set-up there is a licensing (Subscriber) fee each month of between $250-500 per month.

For a Purchased Directory, assistance is available
at an hourly rate.
All performing and visual/media artists receive
a free web page including photo or slide show, streaming video,
sound byte, descriptive text, calendar, rating system, and direct
contact via phone or “hidden” e-mail.
The following optional features are available:
- Reviewed Status
- Link to their Web Site
All services also receive a free listing which includes brief
description, name and address, keywords, telephone number.
Optional features are available:
- Premier Status includes: photo or slide show,
streaming video, longer description, link to
their web site, calendar, up to six searchable “business
types”, and direct contact via “hidden” e-mail.
- Reviewed Status
There is no charge for the maintenance of the data on the registry for all
Hosted Models.
It is advisable for the agency to encourage routine updating of
their listings every six months to keep the data current.
For Purchased Directories, the maintenance of the data is the
responsibility of the client.
If your agency would like to get up and running quickly with the
hosted model but at some in the future move the system to your
home state, that is not a problem. Please
contact us for details.
There are no "per user" charges with ERC Directory. The site and back office
are available to any number of agency or organization staff, as determined by
that client.

Maintenance and Technical Assistance
For Hosted Models ERC maintains the directory and continually monitors the
information submitted to assure that the directory remains “family-friendly ”. Registry members are responsible for keeping the information on their
listings current.
On Purchased Models, the client is responsible for maintaining the
integrity of the database.
Technical assistance is available as part of the contract for Hosted Directories. Assistance is available via telephone (916-922-6040) or via e-mail.
For Purchased Models, technical assistance is available at an hourly rate.
